Chichibu Shrine in Chichibu, Saitama, is the spiritual center of the mountainous Chichibu region and enshrines Yagokoroomotehime-no-Mikoto and Chichibu-no-Mikoto. The shrine is celebrated as the home of the Chichibu Yomatsuri (Night Festival), held each December and designated a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
