/ Takekoma Inari Jinja
One of Japan's Three Great Inari Shrines, Takekoma Inari draws approximately 1.5 million visitors annually. The three enshrined deities are collectively called 'Takekoma Inari-O-no-Kami' and are revered as protectors of the fundamentals of human life: food, clothing, and shelter.
Reputedly founded in 842 by Ono no Takamura as a branch of Fushimi Inari. Considered one of Japan's Three Great Inari Shrines alongside Fushimi Inari Taisha and Toyokawa Inari.
Deity of rice, agriculture, foxes, fertility, commerce, and industry
The shrine claims to be the second-oldest Inari shrine in Japan after Fushimi Inari Taisha.
