Dedicated to the ancestral deity of the Imbe clan, who were responsible for weaving the sacred hemp cloth (aratae) offered at imperial enthronement ceremonies. This tradition continues to this day — Tokushima still provides the aratae for the Daijosai.
Tokushima's Imbe clan tradition continues today — aratae cloth was provided for Emperor Naruhito's 2019 enthronement Daijosai.
